Getting Lost in Venice

I have LOVED being in Venice!! I may not have gotten lost in Venice which everyone says is a must do, but I have had a wonderful experience. The food has been quite good (mostly pasta...it is possible that Italy won't have any more pasta when we leave...), and the spaghetti with seafood has been surprisingly good! We went to museums in St. Marx's square and the highlight of our Venice experience was when the square flooded and we waded in knee deep water (in some parts) to get across the square to the Cathedral! How many times am I in Italy, during a huge rainstorm, with the streets flooding? Once! : ) Also, I ate Gelatto while riding a Gonalier, we saw glass blowing today, and went to Don Giovanni at La Traviata Opera House! The inside was incredibly beautiful and the singing was wonderful as well. I sat on the highest floor so I got to see everything in one eye's view and it was truly an experience to remember. Tomorrow we depart to go to Tuscany and I am a little sad because I feel like there is so much to do and see here but hopefully someday I will be back!
