So, I didnt know I was apart of the blog until Ali helped me on how to do it this morning... But here is my 10!
1. The thing I am MOST excited is to see the Porcellino in
Florance. We have one of the famous boars in my home town back in Vermont, so it would
be great to see the real thing!
2. FOODD!. I mean, who isn't excited for the food?!? The
fact that the appetizer consists of pasta is dope. Pasta Pasta Pasta! Carbs Carbs Carbs!
3. Gondola Ride!! They are everywhere in romantic movies; the
girl wearing the red dress, and the man serenading her. Ah, just so romantic.
Until someone falls into the water.
4. VINO! Yeah, I know everyone is excited to drink wine. But
I'm excited to broaden my knowledge of wines, and what makes the wine taste the
way it does. There are thousands of different types of kinds of wine, I would
like to experience half of those. =]
5.
Fashion. Milan is the fashion capital of the world (At least that is what I
hear.) This isn’t a place where we can just walk around wearing a tank top and
strut in some baggy sweat pants, this is a place where everyone cares how they
look. Even the men! Woman will be wearing high heels 24/7 and the guys will all
be wearing leather shoes. Gorgeous.
6.
Italian. Even though we have had only 3 days of learning Italian, I love the
language. I’ve always loved learning languages. Its cool to see how similar
some of them are to each other. My high school was also a boarding school, and ¼
of the school had people from all over the world. Chinese, Mexican, and even Czech.
We didn’t have “cliques” either, so everyone could get a little taste of another
language just by sitting next to someone. Personally, I used to be fluent in
Spanish but I lost most of it and it was replaced with song lyrics. Lets see if
I can get some of it back by learning Italian!
7. Leaning
tower of Pisa. Yeah, I’m going to take one of those pictures where I pretend I’m
“holding up the tower” or whatever, but I’m going to get creative with it.
Blake can help me out cause she is a profession photographer or something.
8. Even
though this is 10 things I’m excited about, I feel the need to one thing I am
not excited about. Airports, and being in a plane. Even though both of my
parents are pilots, landing an airplane scares me to death. Also the fact that
we have to be in the airplane for like 9 hours, ugh. Ambien anyone?
9. Cooking
class! Cooking is something I’ve been doing ever since I was little. So, being
able to cook in Italy? Uh, Yes please.
10.
Celebrating my 20th birthday, ON AN AIRPLANE! WEE!!! And a little
bit of it in Italy. =]
Great list. I agree with you about airplanes and airports.
